Sue Bird To Receive Statue Outside Of Climate Pledge Arena
Sue Bird, retired Seattle Storm point guard and minority owner in the franchise, will be honored with a statue outside of Climate Pledge Arena in August. Bird, one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball, will be immortalized in bronze next to Seattle SuperSonics legend Lenny Wilkens.
