    Charles started CSS as a podcast back in December of 2019, and since then has worked hard to grow it into the outlet that is it today. A former high school athlete (Didn’t go further for a reason), Charles brings a local and realistic view to the Seattle teams, at the professional, amateur/semi-pro, and collegiate levels.

    Liv Lyons

    Lead photographer

    Liv Lyons joined Circling Seattle Sports’ coverage back in May of 2022, quickly gained respect in the photo wells and on the glass, and was promoted to lead photographer on November 7th, 2022. Since then, Liv has taken strong steps forward in her career and has worked with several of the professional teams in the city of Seattle.

    Kevin Ng recently graduated from the University of Washington. During his time there he worked as a photojournalist for The Daily UW where he gained experience photographing a wide array of different sports and topics

  • Eric Hiller

    Contributing photographer

    Eric joined the CSS team as a contributing photographer early in 2025 and began making his mark across several teams, including the Kraken, Mariners, Sounders, Ballard FC, and several UW programs such as both basketball teams, both soccer teams, and others. Eric has since earned several notable gigs, including with MLB.

    Bryant joined the CSS team in 2025, picking up the camera and heading straight into sports photographer across a number of teams including the Mariners, Salmon Bay FC, and numerous UW programs.

    Liz, a world renowned aviation photographer, joined the team in 2022 and has quickly gained respect for her work across multiple teams (Reign, Sounders, Storm, Mariners) at the pro level. Liz has been a major factor in our hockey coverage, notably covering the 2024 Winter Classic and 2023 Seattle Thunderbirds WHL Championship win.

  • Becca Weinberg

    Becca Weinberg

    Seattle Tempest, Cascades, and Reign FC beat writer

    Born and raised in Seattle, Becca joined the CSS team in 2024 to cover the Seattle Reign, Cascades, and Tempest. A passionate fan of all things Seattle sports, Becca has been covering the cities’ pro teams since high school. As a current journalism student at the University of Oregon (sco ducks), Becca works as an operations assistant for the school’s track and field team and is president of the Oregon women in sports communications club. She is also an avid athlete and competes for the UO women’s club ultimate frisbee team.

  • Miracle Lucketti

    Contributing writer, hockey

    A midwest transplant, the closest thing to an ice rink Miracle had ever come into contact with prior to 2022 was a flat track roller derby track. Now, long after she’s hung up the quad skates, an all consuming love of hockey has since filled the void. When she’s not talking or tweeting about the sport, you can find her in a bookstore, redecorating her living room, or pretending to put that expensive humanities degree to use by coaching early childhood educators.

  • Berlin Kofoed

    Berlin Kofoed (aka Cube) is a passionate fan of all things Seattle sports, with a special interest in baseball. They hope to bring more information and passion from the CSS community to the Seattle Mariners minor league farm system as a contributing writer.

  • Rowan Schaberg

    Contributing writer (Storm, UW WBB) and photographer

    Rowan, a talented multi-media journalist, joined CSS in mid-2024 after years covering the Seattle Storm at “The Next.” Rowan contributes to several outlets, but has shown off her writing, video, and photography abilities during her time with CSS. Rowan, like Bella Munson, is a host on CSS’ “Storm Round Table” and “Husky women’s hoops show” podcasts and does the primary video work on the CSS series “Players & puppies.”

  • Jess Amato

    Contributor (Storm)

    Jess is an East Coast native with a love of sports teams located in the PNW and women's professional sports. She joined CSS in 2025 to cover the Seattle Storm. Outside of sports, she can often be found at a metal concert or planning her next travel destination. 

  • Bella Munson

    Contributor (Players & Puppies, other)

    Bella joined CSS in 2024 to create and produce Players & Puppies, bringing her passion for women’s sports together with dog rescue work. Though she is the Reign beat reporter for The Equalizer, Bella regularly appears on our “Right as Reign” podcast. She also covers the Seattle Storm and college basketball for “The Next” while completing her Journalism and Public Interest Communication degree at the University of Washington.

  • Jeffrey Nooney

    Contributing writer (Mariners)

    Jeffrey joined the CSS team in 2025 to cover the Seattle Mariners. He has covered the Mariners since 2018. Jeffrey is a lifelong Mariners and baseball fan, and plays in multiple fantasy sports leagues. He is also a proud father of 4.

    Aaron joined the CSS team in 2025 and has primarily worked on Seattle Mariners assignments, but has chipped in with the Kraken and Sounders among others.

    Head of community

    A life long fan of sports, video games and pop culture. Michael moved to Seattle in the fall of 2021 and instantly fell in the love with the city. A fan of the fans and someone who aims to make sports communities to be a safe fun space for everyone.

    Kaitlan

    Community Events

    Kaitlan has experience serving in community events and participating in sports from a young age. Her liking for a broad spectrum of sports has grown exponentially since moving to the PNW in 2010. She is excited to join her passions of community service and sports, and continue fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere with the CSS team.

  • Rio Giancarlo

    Contributing photographer

    Rio joined the CSS team late into 2023, having mingled with some members of the team through his work at Seattle Pacific University. Rio took on a number of assignments, from the Mariners, Kraken, Reign, Sounders, Storm, and others. Rio has since gone on to work with Getty Images, Associated Press, the Desert News, and more.

  • Brittany Wisner

    Contributing writer (Mariners)

    Brittany is a self-proclaimed baseball nerd, with the CSS team from early 2024 to 2025 to help with Mariners coverage. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and spent 15 years playing softball as a catcher before coaching the sport for 6 years. Brittany is a die-hard baseball, football, and overall Seattle sports fan.

  • Blake Dahlin

    Contributing photographer

    Blake spent some brief time with the CSS team during the summer of 2024 to add to his photography portfolio. Blake is primarily Ballard FC’s team photographer, the second photographer for Salmon Bay FC, and has contributed for the Seattle Torrent, ISI photos, Imagn, and more.

  • Sage Zipeto

    Sage joined the CSS team for a few months in 2024 to add to her photography portfolio after work with the “UW Daily” in college. Sage took on a few assignments such as the Mariners, Kraken, and Ballard FC before getting gigs with the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox.

  • Jayd Serdy

    Contributing writer (Kraken, Mariners)

    Jayd started out contributing to Mariners articles before taking on a primary role as a Kraken writer, providing game stories, takeaway articles, and occasional features before leaving to pursue other opportunities in early 2026.

  • Silvia Leija-Rosas

    Contributing writer

    Silvia joined the CSS team around mid-2024, covering the Seattle Kraken and their AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Brought “Los Kraken” to CSS articles, before leaving to pursue other opportunities mid-2025.
