The week of April 28th through May 3rd, 2026, for minor league affiliates of the Seattle Mariners was not a fruitful one in the win column, but did see some stellar individual performances from some top prospects as well as continued rehab assignments for big leaguers.
Mariners Offense and Bullpen Continue to Scuffle in 5-2 Defeat to Athletics
Behind some more struggles by the bullpen and the offense going cold after a few runs, the Seattle Mariners fell to the Athletics in game two of the series, meaning they’ll look to avoid being swept in tomorrow’s matinee finale. Luis Castillo was serviceable on the mound, but with just a few runs of support behind him, he would’ve had to be perfect to help the team more.
