Kraken Lose in Overtime, Extend Point Streak, and Throw a Pride Party
The Seattle Kraken were unable to secure another victory at home on Pride Night, but did manage to extend their points streak with an overtime defeat to the Minnesota Wild. The visiting Wild got on the board twice in the first period to force the Kraken to play catch up, but two goals in the third period put Seattle right back in the contest.
Events to know heading into Seattle’s first ever Winter Classic
While the Winter Classic itself will be a massive experience on it's own as our Seattle Kraken host the Las Vegas Golden Knights, there are plenty of events leading into gameday that fans can participate in to get into the spirit of a historic contest!
Rain City Showcase 2023: Clippers top Jazz as Seattle shows out
The Los Angeles Clippers were the "Home" team tonight, hosting the Utah Jazz and winning behind a strong effort from Kawhi Leonard. The stars were on display at CPA, as numerous Seattle sports legends including Lenny Wilkens, Sue Bird, Bobby Wagner, and current players like J.P. Crawford and Jordan Horston were present at the game. The city of Seattle continues to show out, proving why it deserves an NBA team once again.
