Press release: CSS adds writer Jess Amato for Seattle Storm coverage
By Charles Hamaker
Seattle, WA - With the Seattle Storm slated to tip off their 2025 WNBA season, the franchises 26th campaign in search of a fifth league title, Circling Seattle Sports is thrilled to get back to our coverage of the cities Women’s basketball team. Always searching to improve upon our coverage of the Storm, adding Christan Braswell and Rowan Schaberg last year as writers and for our “Storm Round Table” podcast, we’ve added another writer to our coverage of the team with Jess Amato. Jess has expressed interest in joining CSS in a capacity, largely looking to dive into the world of covering women’s sports and she’ll do just that by adding to our coverage of the Storm with potential for additional coverage of other teams in the area going forward.
“When the opportunity to add Jess to our team came about, it was a no brainer for me. I’m extremely proud of our Storm coverage with Rowan and Christan, so adding Jess only makes our coverage of the Storm better as we look to dominate that media space. Please help me welcome Jess to the team as we get ready for the WNBA season to tip off!”
When opportunities arise to add great writers and people from other outlets, it’s always something that CSS wants to look into and have done in the past with folks like Christan and Rowan, as well as others across our coverage of other teams in the greater Seattle area. Jess has history writing about the NHL, PWHL, and has done some written work covering music as well. A writer that’s shown versatility and a willingness to continue her growth, we’re thrilled to add Jess as she continues to progress in her written career but also to help CSS maintain our reputation as one of the most dependable outlets in Seattle for women’s sports. Being on site for Seattle Reign FC and Seattle Storm games has helped CSS lead the area in coverage of the cities women’s sports teams, and we’ve only added to that in the years since we started this journey which includes breaking the news of Seattle’s PWHL team. No other outlet in Seattle has a social media presence, video content, podcast content, and written content of the Storm like we do.
Be on the lookout for other additions to our Storm coverage this season.
