Seawolves shake off rust, bounce Raptors in 47-0 preseason victory
In their first of two preseason matches ahead of the 2023 regular season, the Seattle Seawolves romped to a 47-0 victory against the American Raptors. Seattle got two tries from Dan Kriel to begin the game, and were able to control the game from there under the classic Seattle rain.
Thunderbirds return to win column with close victory over Chiefs
In their third consecutive game of the weekend, the Seattle Thunderbirds won their second game of that span as they defeated the Spokane Chiefs. Despite doubling the Chiefs shot total (52-21), Seattle only won by two goals. The last of those goals was an empty netter to inflate the score.

In a historic match for Seattle, the Sounders were unable to finish their chances in the final third against Al Ahly SC. Seattle’s run in the Club World Cup ends after their first match, but there were some positives to take away from the match such as the return of Joao Paulo.

In a heated rivalry game, it took a Brad Lambert overtime winner for the Seattle Thunderbirds to defeat the Everett SIlvertips. Seattle and Everett exchanged gut punches and lead changes, but ultimately the Thunderbirds were better prepared for the overtime period.

In their second to last game before the All-Star break, the Seattle Kraken looked like the ones who were gassed as they fall by a three goal margin to a Calgary Flames team that was on the second game of a back-to-back
Kraken catch their “white whale,” obliterating Canucks 6-1
For the first time in their existence, the Seattle Kraken were finally able to best the Vancouver Canucks, annihilating their neighbors to the North by a score of 6-1. Five Kraken skaters scored a goal and ten of them recorded a point in the historic victory.
