Kraken trounced by Maple Leafs in 6-2 loss
Things would not be romantic for the Seattle Kraken on Valentines day, 2022 as they were handily blown out by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Seattle struggled heavily on their specialty teams play, failing to get much going on their power play. On the other side of things, the Maple Leafs were able to take advantage of that as Toronto scored both times on two power play opportunities.

Kraken fall to Coyotes in disappointing showing
The Seattle Kraken losing streak out of the All-Star break would continue, hitting four games as they fell to the Arizona Coyotes in blowout-Esque fashion. Seattle was outclassed and continued to display the same mistakes that we have seen from the expansion club throughout their debut season.

The Seattle Kraken were able to put together a game of the year candidate, defeating the heavily favored Florida Panthers by two goals for a final score of 5-3. Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer was excellent considering circumstances, and Seattle was able to get the offensive input needed to beat the juggernaut that is Florida.
