September struggles continue: Mariners open homestand frustrating to defeat, fall out of playoffs with loss to Angels
The struggles in the month of September continue for the Seattle Mariners, who dropped their series opener to the Los Angeles Angels. Julio made history, things started out strong, but the Mariners offense didn't score from innings 2-9 and ultimately fell in extras to Los Angeles.
