Winterhawks chew up Thunderbirds: Seattle takes a 7-1 beating
In the midst of a brutal run of games, the Seattle Thunderbirds dropped an ugly home loss to the Portland Winterhawks, conceding a 7-1 defeat to their WHL rivals to the South. Portland took a two goal lead into the first intermission, and although it appeared that Seattle had found some momentum with some Scott Ratzlaff saves, the Winterhawks pulled away.

Thunderbirds begin homestretch with special teams filled victory over Winterhawks
The Seattle Thunderbirds, with only five games remaining in the regular season after tonight, moved past a slow first period and a whopping eleven special teams situations as they defeated their rival Portland Winterhawks, 5-2. Forward and Arizona Coyotes prospect Dylan Guenther tallied a goal and two assists in the win.
