For the second time in three days, our Seattle Kraken played host to the Dallas Stars. In similar fashion, the Kraken scored first, went down two goals to one for most of the game, and ultimately couldn't get an equalizer as they let their netminder down. In a do or die game six back in their home of Climate Pledge Arena, the Seattle Kraken got out to a hot start and were able to sustain that pressure to secure a victory and force a game seven in their second round Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup. In game three of the second round Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup, the Seattle Kraken blew out the Dallas Stars by a score of 7-2 with five of those goals coming in the second period. Continued strong play by Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer and the Seattle defenseman kept the Stars at bay, while the Kraken skaters tore through Dallas.

The Seattle Kraken took game one of their Stanley Cup Playoff second round matchup against the Dallas Stars, fueled by a four-goal first period and an overtime game winner by forward Yanni Gourde. Seattle again collapsed when holding a two-goal lead, but they were able to remain focused and composed to get the winner in overtime.

In another tight, heartbreaking loss, the Seattle Kraken fell to the Dallas Stars in overtime. The first of two games the teams will play in three days and of three games this month, Seattle hung with Dallas all night long and even took a lead with less than four minutes left in the game, but failed to slam the door shut.
