Seattle Reign Begin 2026 NWSL Season With 2-1 Win Over Orlando Pride
The Seattle Reign began their 2026 campaign with a victory, taking down the Orlando Pride with a 2-1 victory as veteran forward Brittany Ratcliffe scored the winner late. Starting their season where last years team saw their campaign end in the playoffs, the Reign get 2026 underway with three points.

Our Seattle Reign FC played to a 1-1 draw on the road against the Orlando Pride on NWSL decision day, falling short of their goal of a win that would’ve guaranteed them homefield advantage in the playoffs. Both goals came in the final 25 minutes of the match, and now the Reign will remain in Orlando for a rematch against the Pride this Friday. Becca Weinberg recaps the decision day draw.

Our Seattle Reign FC dropped their final match of the 2024 NWSL season, losing by one goal to this years NWSL Shield winners in the Orlando Pride on the road. Goals by Jordyn Huitema and Maddie Mercado helped Seattle keep up, but not enough to complete a comeback attempt as the Pride put up two key goals in the first half including one that proved questionable but wasn’t overturned.
