Storm Waive Draft Pick Taina Mair as Season Opener Nears
Five days out from their 2026 WNBA season opener, the Seattle Storm waived rookie guard Taina Mair. The Storm selected the 5’9” guard out of Duke in the first round of this years WNBA entry draft, the 14th overall selection. There is still a possibility that Mair will return to the Storm, but on one of the teams two development slots.
