UW Women’s Soccer Strikes First, Settles For Draw In Season Opener Versus Oregon State

The 2025 season for the Washington Husky women’s soccer program began with a draw against a familiar foe in the Oregon State Beavers. Kelsey Branson struck first with a header in the first half, and while a strong offensive second half for Washington made it look like they’d win comfortably, an equalizer from the Beavers forced a split in the points.
