Storm assistant reportedly at the center of complaint with WNBA

Seattle, WA - On Wednesday afternoon, it was announced that an investigation was underway into the Seattle Storm’s coaching staff by the WNBA, according to iHeart Media’s Khristina Williams.
Hours later, Howard Megdal of The Next provided clarity on the claim, proving the previous report to be inaccurate.
The Storm directed requests for comment to the WNBA, which declined to comment.
According to Megdal, there was a confrontation on Sunday after the Las Vegas Aces took on the Seattle Storm for the second Sunday in a row, where a Storm assistant coach allegedly cursed at a former Storm player. There are no fines or suspensions expected from the fallout of this.
The source didn’t say who made the allegation or whom it was against. The Aces beat the Storm 75-70 at Climate Pledge Arena in that game on June 1st. It was the teams' second meeting this season; the Storm won the first 102-82 on May 25th in Seattle, a week to the day before the game where this complaint took place.
Back in November, the Storm hired a law firm to investigate allegations that the team’s coaching staff engaged in harassing and bullying players. It concluded without discovering any violations.
Storm head coach Noelle Quinn told reporters in February, "I believe that the organization did the right thing. Throughout this entire process, the communication level was tremendously high. I felt supported in a lot of ways, and I know my staff felt supported as well. With anything like this, it is important to take the right steps, and our organization did that."
The Storm and Aces meet again on June 20th in Las Vegas, with the Aces are set to host the regular season series finale between these two on August 8th.
